The Cop26 summit takes place on 12th November in Glasgow. Raising awareness of the climate crisis is a priority, not just for environmental groups, but as a way of bringing about systems change at all levels of society. Leicester’s Friends of the Earth group and Leicester Greenpeace were out in Leicester on Saturday morning to raise awareness of the Cop26 conference, and to ask people to pledge action to deal with the climate crisis, and to let our representatives know that we will be holding them to account.
