Leicester Smart City Vox-Pops Wednesday 14th September

On Wednesday, we paid a visit to the Compass exhibition in Jubilee Square in Leicester, part of the British Science Festival taking place this week. We chatted with some people who had been to see the exhibition about what their experience of Leicester has been as a Smart City, and who technology is changing the way we perceive our services and the way we do things. Our community reporters were ZamZam, Amrin, Bindu and Madina.

This project is supported by The Alan Turing Institute, whose mission is to promote the understanding of the ethical and social issues arising from the use of data science and artificial intelligence. Professor Edward Cartwright of De Montfort University is leading the project, along with colleagues Dr Swati Virmani and Dr Ruben Martinez Cardenas of the Leicester Castle Business School.
