How can we support imaginative and future-focussed ideas to empower citizens to meet the challenges of the great disruption? Whether it’s climate crisis, technology change, globalisation, artificial intelligence, is there a need to shift our thinking to a more design-led and problem-solving focus?
Taking part in this round-table discussion, held at the Beta X hub, were: Professor Edward Cartwright from De Montfort University, Dr Sean Clark from Interact Digital Arts, and Sophie Noon from Leicester City Council’s Heritage Action team. They shared their experiences working in design and creative development and discussed what we need to do in Leicester to plan for economic change.
