In an age when lots of things can be done virtually, it’s good to be reminded of the joys and pleasure of physically creating and exploring stuff and places. Beta X is Leicester’s pop-up design and creative hub, that brings together lots of different people with an interest in making interesting stuff. This day of workshop’s brought together blacksmith Oliver Boyat, with fashion communications students from De Montfort University, and Leonie from Lighting the Way, who were showing their work as part of the exhibitions workshops at the Beta X hub.
